Khuk Khak is one of Thailand4U’s four public Khao Lak traveller areas.
It is a practical content catchment, not a claim that every beach or village inside it is one formal administrative district.

WHY STAY HERE?
Best for: Quiet beach stays, couples, families and resort time.
Suggested stay: 4–7 nights.
FOOD
Khuk Khak has good local and seafood options, but restaurants are more spread out than in Nang Thong or Bang Niang. Resort dining matters more here.
EVENINGS
Nightlife is minimal. Evenings are built around dinner, resort bars and quiet drinks.
WHAT TO SEE
The long beach and easy access towards Pakarang Cape and northern coastal scenery are bigger draws than urban sightseeing.
GETTING AROUND
Taxis, resort shuttles, private transfers and scooters only for experienced riders.
Walking works best within individual beach or centre pockets. Khao Lak’s coastline is too spread out to rely on walking between public areas.

- Choose this area if quiet matters more than walkable nightlife.
- Check whether your resort offers transport into Bang Niang or Nang Thong.
- Pakarang and Coconut Beach are not separate public Thailand4U areas.
- During rough-sea periods, follow beach warning flags rather than assuming swimming is safe.
