Khao Lak
Khao Lak is not one compact beach town but a long Andaman resort coast in Phang Nga, stretching from the central visitor hubs around Nang Thong and Bang Niang to the quieter beaches and larger resorts farther north. The destination is known for relaxed beach holidays, diving and snorkelling trips, national parks, waterfalls and access to the Similan and Surin island groups. Nang Thong offers the easiest first-time convenience, Bang Niang adds markets and evening life, Khuk Khak slows the pace, and Pak Weep & Bang Sak form the quietest northern resort zone.
